The Anglo Peruvian Society is a registered charity, founded in 1961 to foster in the United Kingdom knowledge of Peru and Peruvian culture, in doing so contribute to the mission of poverty alleviation among the people of Peru.
The Society is managed by an elected Executive Committee whose President is The Ambassador of Peru.
The Society organizes a full programme of Events throughout the year that unite people with a common interest for Peru. These range from lectures and films as well as social gatherings.
The Society raises funds and collects aid in kind to help a wide range of charitable projects, as well as research expeditions and individual field workers undertaking studies in Peru.
The Society’s Young Member’s Group of under 35′s brings together younger Peruvians, Anglo-Peruvians or those with an interest in Peru. It holds its own programme of parties, lectures, films and other activities in an informal environment.
