This lecture about Peru’s iconic world heritage site promises to be entertaining, informative and thought-provoking.  It will be lavishly illustrated, and important because John Hemming is an authority whose books on Inca history and on Inca architecture are very highly acclaimed in Peru and elsewhere.  He has been visiting Machu Picchu throughout the past sixty years, and is fully up-to-date from recent research there with its dedicated management.
